Level A structural evaluation
A Level A evaluation includes a review of available property history and a visual walkthrough. The engineer provides an opinion on the home’s overall structural performance and whether further evaluation is needed. This visual assessment does not include invasive testing or detailed engineering analysis.
Level B structural evaluation
A Level B evaluation builds on the Level A assessment with more detailed measurements, including foundation elevations used to evaluate levelness, tilt, and deflection. Findings support recommendations for addressing substantial foundation movement where appropriate.
